Education Equity Policy Brief Released

On Sunday, June 12 at OAP’s Racial Equity Gathering, we released our second Racial Equity Policy Brief on Education Equity. We also presented it to Commissioner Cassellius with the Minnesota Department of Education. You can read the whole Policy brief here:

OAP's second racial equity policy brief came as the result of months of meetings with organizations and education leaders throughout the state, as well as input from community members. The brief focuses on the solutions to the equity gaps in our education system, to demonstrate that we can get beyond seeing only the size of the problem. Jermaine Toney and Hillary Rodgers serve as co-authors.
